We are a credit ratings agency recognized by SEBI, the Indian securities market regulator. The agency was set up by Vivek Kulkarni and Balasubramanian. Vivek Kulkarni, IAS, was the former IT Secretary of Government of Karnataka and has been in the finance faculty of Boston University, IIM and presently the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Balasubramanian is a senior banker and the former Chairman and MD of Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI).
Brickwork Ratings offers traditional ratings products for loans, bonds, debentures and other structured products. In addition the company offers grading for IPOs, hospitals, diagnostic labs, real estate builders, etc.
Brickwork Ratings has positions at several levels - trainees, analysts, senior analysts, engagement managers, asst general managers, deputy general managers, chief general managers, directors and advisors. The engagement could be full time, part time or on project basis.
Candidates from any discipline with excellent academic records and analytical skills can apply. For senior positions, we would prefer people with relevant experience in rating agencies, investment banks and commercial banks. Candidates who have worked in corporate finance departments and have an understanding of the regulations in RBI, SEBI and the finance ministry, including officers from the Indian Economic Service, are welcome to apply.
