Mr. S Santhanam is the former General Manager of Canara Bank. He is a versatile and experienced banker with multi-faceted skills, having special exposure in Treasury, Forex, International Operations and Credit (Retail & Corporate) areas. He was in-charge of the Treasury operations of the Bank and responsible for maintaining statutory requirements. He worked closely with International and Domestic Regulators, in compliance matters, legal matters, and so on, and has strong expertise in International Banking and Finance. He was also a member on the Board of Directors of Fixed Income Money Market & Derivatives (FIMMDA).
