• Interpret data, analyze results using Excel or statistical packages and provide reports.
• Develop and implement data sets, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize decision-making and quality.
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain data sets/data systems.
• Ability to Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Filter and clean data by reviewing reports, and correct data inconsistencies using excel and or R program
• Work with management to prioritize business and ratings team information needs.
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

• Proficient in report writing and presenting findings.
• Familiar with basic Maths and Statistics concepts like mean, median, mode, correlation etc.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to analyze, model and interpret data for credit rating model development and maintenance.
• Problem-solving skills and a methodical and logical approach
• The ability to plan work and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excel proficiency with respect to using formulae and charting. A basic understanding of Programming languages, such as R and or Python is desirable though not mandatory
• Experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (SPSS, SAS, etc. ), is a plus.
• Experience: 5+ years (graduates) and 3+ years (PG/CA) of relevant experience in the
• credit rating domain and or Credit Underwriting. Experience should be with a Financial institution or Consulting organization.

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance / Statistics / Engineering / CA.
• Any additional certifications in finance will be an added advantage.
