Job description:

• Conduct periodical review of internal risk assessment templates and Criteria for various sectors.

• Assist in formulating Ratings Policies, Criteria & methodology for the ratings department.

• Conduct periodical review to streamline and standardize rating criteria and policies in line with regulatory and macroeconomic environment changes.

• Develop new products criteria and methodology in response to market needs.

• Ensure objectivity in the rating process through consistent application of rating criteria, methodologies and procedures within analytical groups by frequent sample checks.

• Coordinate with the business development team for market feedback and requirements for the new product development.

• Assist in revising and updating the Rating Guidance Notes periodically incorporating regulatory guidelines in coordination with the internal teams.

• Closely monitor regulatory policy changes with reference to CRAs and ensure timely adoption and dissemination of new/revised policies and criteria and regulatory guidelines within the organization.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop the Rating Criteria/Policy/Methodology.

• Familiar with basic Maths and Statistics concepts like mean, median, mode, correlation etc.

• Familiarity in identifying Key Performance Indicators of various sectors.

• Ability to analyze performance of rating models and interpret data with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Benchmarking performance with peers on various performance indicators.

• Experience in Regulatory reporting and managing internal and or regulatory audits.

• Excellent presentation and written skills - written and verbal.

Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance / Engineering / CA. Any additional certifications in finance will be an added advantage.
