BWR provides, investors and lenders, timely and in-depth research across the structured finance, public finance, financial institutions, project finance and corporate sectors.

Primary Responsibility:
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide reports.
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing reports, and correct code problems.
  • Work with management to prioritize business and ratings team information needs.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
Competency / Skills:
  • A high level of mathematical ability.
  • Programming languages, such as R, SQL, and Python.
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
  • Experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc), a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to analyze, model and interpret data.
  • Problem-solving skills and a methodical and logical approach.
  • The ability to plan work and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Educational Qualification:
  • Postgraduate in Finance / Statistics

Any additional certifications in finance will be an added advantage.
