Brickwork Ratings offers exciting careers for young graduates as well as experienced bankers and finance professionals. Young graduates can apply for a Rating Analyst position. Experienced bankers are recruited for both Business Development or Ratings. Banking & Financial Analyst (BFA) Program is offered for both the young and the experienced.
Young Graduates
Graduates in any discipline are welcome to apply. Unlike many finance jobs that can be repetitive and clerical, Brickwork Analysts have an excellent job profile that requires them to analyze company financial statements, understand the industry prospects, talk to senior management of the company, interact with bankers, auditors and finally make a presentation to the Rating committees. The rating rationales prepared by the analysts are going to be widely publicized in print and electronic media. The candidates could develop enhanced level of proficiency both in analytical and communication skills, within a three year stint with Brickwork.
Brickwork Analyst Program
Brickwork Ratings offers a unique program – Brickwork Analyst Program, which offers a rating analyst job plus Banking and Financial Analyst program during the weekend. This program is offered by the Brickwork Finance Academy for both the young and experienced. The candidates are expected to pass both Level I & Level II exams of the Banking and Financial Analyst program.
The Brickwork Analyst Program is for talented individuals who want to make a difference in the field of finance. While we don’t have any eligibility criteria, the typical candidates often have an MBA in Finance or cleared CFA at various levels or certified as CA/CS or passed other competitive exams. Candidates selected for the program, attend weekend classes conducted by Brickwork Finance Academy on Saturdays from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm. These classes commence in June and end in March every year. The Banking and Financial Analyst Level I and Level II exams are always held on second Saturday of April every year.
The program prepares candidates for Credit, Equity and Risk analyst positions. The courses are rigorous and often use cases from
Harvard Business School extensively. The courses are taught by IISc, IIM professors and highly accomplished practitioners in finance and banking.

Rating Analysts
Brickwork recruits most rating analysts via the Banking and Financial Analyst program. Highly qualified analysts with experience in investment or credit analysis are also recruited directly. Such candidates are typically CFA Level 2, CA/MBA from good schools and have good understanding of Indian financial markets.

Experienced Bankers
Brickwork has large number of PSU bankers holding senior positions in business development as well as ratings department. The banks represented are Andhra Bank, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Punjab National Bank, State Bank of India, Kotak Bank, IDBI Bank, IFCI, Bank of Maharashtra, etc. The bankers who have experience in handling credit to corporates will be preferred.
Candidates from any discipline with excellent academic records and analytical skills can apply. Candidates who have worked in corporate finance departments and have an understanding of the regulations of RBI, SEBI and the Finance Ministry, including officers from the Indian Economic Service, are also welcome to apply.

The banks represented are Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Punjab National Bank, State Bank of India, IDBI Bank and more. Brickwork now requires bankers in every Tier I, Tier II and Tier III city/towns.
The bankers who have experience in handling credit to corporates will be preferred. Candidates from any discipline can apply. Candidates who have understanding of working capital loans, terms loans, non- fund based credit are welcome to apply.
